Per-diem Water Pollution Control Authority Clerk

The Town of Harwinton is accepting employment applications for the position of a per-diem Water Pollution Control Authority Clerk

GENERAL DUTIES:  Prepare mandatory meeting Agendas, transcribe Minutes for the Harwinton Water Pollution Control Authority, maintain regulations & files, attend meetings once a month, assume as point of contact person for communication purposes, and forward all reports to the appropriate departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Ability to read and interpret Water Pollution Control Authority Regulations, a plus but not required. Ability to express decisions and reason through both verbal and written communication. Ability to communicate effectively with the public, various boards and commissions, other departments and staff. Attend WPCA evening meetings when required.

High school graduate. Valid driver's license.  Experience and local a plus.  Training available.

SALARY: hourly
