The Harwinton Historic District and Historic Properties Commission is dedicated to encouraging the preservation of sites and building within the town that contribute to the educational, architectural and aesthetic values that make Harwinton unique and to serve as an informational resource to owners of historic homes.
You can view the Commission’s advisory handbook or obtain a copy of an application for a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA), by clicking on the relevant tab in the upper left-hand corner.
The Commission meets on the third Tuesday of every month and all meetings are open to the public. Currently, we are holding our meetings via Zoom and if you wish to attend, pre-registration is required.
