Senior Center

Our Senior Center is open Tuesday-Thursday from 10am-3pm. If you do not drive, you can utilize the Dial-A-Ride Services through NW Transit (860-489-2535). You will have to call the day before to schedule your ride! 

To register for programs please call the Senior Center 860-689-1951 or the Recreation office 860-485-0626 with any immediate questions.

We have some great luncheons and trips coming up! We have limited availability for trips and shows so make sure you call the Senior Center ASAP to sign up and secure your spot.

The BEST way to stay up to date on programs and to make sure you get on the list is to come in to the center! Find out what's happening before the mail gets to you!

So far this year we have gone to:

  • Plainville (First & Last Tavern, Mosccatto's Bakery, Kohl's, Goodwill)
  • Essex Steam Train & Riverboat
  • West Hartford (Olive Garden, Trader Joe's, World Class Market)
  • New Milford ( The Abbey, TJMaxx, HomeGoods, Kohl's)
  • Jimmy's at Savin Rock
  • Radio City Muisc Hall


Prospective Members: Our membership is $10 per year, per household. We send out calendars every other month, as well as a newsletter quarterly. You can print an application and a Form 5 (found on the left side of the page). You can also get a copy from the Senior Center or the Recreation office located in Town Hall.
